Genshin Impact just dropped a brand new trailer for its 1.3 Update, which should be arriving soon enough here, early February, by most accounts.
There’s a lot shown off in this trailer, which is focused on the Lantern Rite event, which is made up of new arrivals plus a bunch of mini events during the same period.
It’s been confirmed that Xiao is going to be the next featured 5 star hero, and we get to see a little bit of his anemo kit in this trailer, where his ultimate looks like he curses enemies in some way. He’s the only new character featured, but there’s still a lot here.
A new type of battle arena is shown that seems to have a lot more enemies than normal and a bunch of elemental components to it. It’s not clear whether this is just for a limited time event or a permanent addition to the game.
