Apex Legends, developed by Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts. is a free Battle Royale game published by. Set in the same universe as Titanfall, the game was released on February 4, 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
These legends are heroes with unique abilities that fall into roles such as Offense, Defense, Support, and Recon. Players are divided into teams of three, each player chooses a different legend from the others in turn, and 20 teams compete against each other in each match. All teams start without equipment, and fly with dropship over the game’s map. From here, they fall to any point they can reach on the map. Teams must search the game map for weapons, ammunition and other equipment, as well as try to stand as the last team, staying within the safe zone that is constantly shrinking on the map. A player can be vulnerable to injury, one of his teammates must save that player in this case. If the player’s health condition runs out after the injury, he is eliminated from the game, which leaves the player’s equipment and a banner in the middle, and other players have access to these equipment. If teammates capture the banner and take it to Spawn beacon, the player can be revived, in limited time. Apex has both voice chat communication with teammates and contextual one-key communication that allows the player to ping map features such as weapons, opponents, or rally points.
