However, all McDonald’s restaurants in the UK are currently closed to guests and open to take-away as part of the government’s current coronavirus lock-up measures.
However, the chain plans to reopen takeaway stores in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland from February 22.
Until then, you must go to the drive-thru or opt for delivery to receive the morning fix of your Maccie.
When does McDonald’s stop serving breakfast?
McDonald’s serves breakfast until 11 am in all restaurants.
I used to switch to the lunch menu at 10: 30, but the chefs added an extra 30 minutes to the 2019 breakfast menu.
Restaurants, which are normally open 24 hours a day, serve breakfast from 6 am.
However, the current lockout rules mean that restaurants must stop serving food at 11 p.m., so you won’t find maccies that are open all night unless you’re at a highway gas station.
All other restaurants start the day with the breakfast menu at normal opening hours.
With the Store Locator tool you can find out where your nearest store is located and at what time it is opened.
What’s on the McDonald’s breakfast menu?
Since reopening after the first closure in March 2020, McDonald’s has continued to offer a reduced menu.
At the time, it temporarily closed all 1,350 of its restaurants and when they reopened, they didn’t offer breakfast at first, but don’t worry, they do now.
But the popular breakfast bagels have not yet returned and some of the previously offered Maccies wraps are still missing from the menu.
However, there is a new addition to the breakfast menu-the breakfast bagel with jam.
Why don’t you serve burgers before 11.00?
Unfortunately, we don’t have enough space in our kitchens to accommodate the cooking and preparation of our breakfast and main menus at the same time.
