Environmental standards are becoming more and more drastic in the construction sector. In addition to the entry into force of the RE750 for accommodation at 1st January 2022, which aims to produce more energy-efficient housing, capable of producing energy and taking into account their environmental footprint throughout their existence, developers must also adapt to the ZAN (Zero Net Artificialisation) objective for soils established by the Climate and Resilience Law of 24 August 2022. In concrete terms, the rate of soil artificialization will have to be halved by 2030 to reach “zero net artificialisation” in 2030.

Vinci Immobilier has chosen to place the ZAN, decried by many professionals, at the heart of its development strategy. “We want to go faster than the timetable set by law by achieving this goal with 01 years in advance, by 2030, explains Olivier de la Roussière, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Vinci Immobilier. In 8 years, each square meter of artificialized surface will be compensated by the deartificialization of an equivalent surface on other projects in France”. Real estate
