Apple has decided and it will finally be “yes”. While its season 3 was on hold, The Morning Show will have a sequel despite the latest information of the year 2021 which did not bode well.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter at the end of last November, while season 2 of The Morning Show was in full swing on Apple TV+, Jennifer Aniston said this: “It’s very difficult to imagine a season 3 right now. You know, when they say mothers kinda block out like, ‘I could never do that again!’ I’m a bit like that right now. In mode: ‘I don’t know if I could ever do it again!’ So we’ll see…”. There, everyone would have bet that The Morning Show would not have season 3 or that the ex-star of Friends would not participate. Two months later, it’s just the opposite.
Apple TV+ has indeed confirmed that there will indeed be a third season for The Morning Show. With his two favorite actresses in the cast: Jennifer Aniston, but also Reese Witherspoon. On the other hand, we change showrunner at Apple, aware, perhaps, that there were some messy areas in the scenario of the season 2, as in season 1 for that matter. Charlotte Stroud (who notably participated in Homeland) will replace Kerry Ehrin as writing director. It will have to bounce back on a rather mysterious end in the second season. An end which however leaves all the doors open for ten episodes with twists in the terrible medium of American television. If no date has been announced, the series The Morning Show could see its start shooting in the spring and airing in the fourth quarter 2022 on Apple TV+.
