Snyder Cut is the movie version Justice League completely directed by Zack Snyder. During the production of the project in May 2017, Zack Snyder decided to step down as director, alleging personal problems, with Josh Whedon being chosen to replace him.
Things did not go very well, with the version finished by Whedon (who eliminated several scenes, deciding to even record new) being a disaster at the box office and a calamity with the critics. and about three and a half hours long! The Snyder Cut from Justice League will be a completely different film, according to the latest statements from director Zack Snyder. Although the American director’s edition is almost four hours long (two hours longer than Whedon’s version), there are still ninety more minutes of extra footage – that is, there are more than five hours of material that have never seen the light of day.
In the initial plans, Snyder’s version would be the first film in a trilogy that would culminate in a dystopian future, where a regime controlled by Superman would be confronted by the troops of resistance led by Batman.
In Snyder Cut we would see the first steps of this conflict and also an appearance of the villain main, Darkseid.

Barry Allen saves Iris West
This was one of the first scenes to be released, in it we can see unpublished images of Barry Allen saving Iris West – a character that ended up being completely cut from Josh Whedon’s version.
Superman’s black costume
Before the film opened, there were many rumors that we would see the black suit of Superman for the first time in live-action , something that didn’t happen in Justice League. However, in this scene from Snyder Cut we can see Superman’s alternate costume!
Superman meets Alfred
In this scene we can see Superman interacting for the first time with the butler (and best friend) Bruce Wayne, Alfred, before joining the rest of the Justice League team.
Victor Stone playing football
Here we see Victor Stone before turning into Cyborg, playing a game of football, for the Gotham City Wildcats team.
Multiple Cyborg scenes
In this video we can see several scenes of the Cyborg in action that ended up being cut from the final version directed by Josh Whedon.
Amazon turning into a demon
During the first meeting of the Amazon with the Lobo da Estep and, there was a scene where one of them was starting to turn into a demon, but that ended up killing themselves before that happened.
Green Lantern dialogues cut
Several dialogues of the characters, Green Lantern, Zeus, Ares and Hippolyta were cut in the final version of the film.
The Steppe Wolf’s plan was totally different
In a cut scene, the Steppe Wolf after managing to take one of Themyscira’s Mother Boxes starts talking to the object, because the essence of his mother, Hegra was in the three boxes. When he brought them together, they would unleash their mother’s powers, passing them on to the Steppe Wolf who would thus have an advantage over Darkseid.
Aquaman in Atlantis
Another cut scene was Aquaman’s trip to Atlantis to receive advice from Mera and Vulko. Mera tells him to stay in Atlantis for not trusting Orm while Vulko tells him to follow his heart. Aquaman ends up helping the terrestrials.
The visit to the Batcave
In the original version of Zack Snyder, the Justice League ends up visiting the Batcave. Bruce ends up revealing that he had a nightmare and that he believes the Steppe Wolf wants to resurrect Superman and that they should do it first.
The appearance of Eléktron III
More recently, Zack Snyder revealed a photo of actor Orion Lee, playing the role of Ryan Choi who would later become the third Eléktron.
When the Steppe Wolf returns to Akopolis, Darkseid ends up killing him, stating that he will travel to the planet Earth to get to know the Kryptonian (Superman).
Premiere on HBO Max!
In day 27 by Mai that of 2021, the SnyderCut will arrive on the streaming HBO Max platform! This was a revelation that no one was expecting and that took the world by surprise.
Warner Bros will invest more 20 millions of dollars for Zack Snyder to finish his version completely, to the delight of many fans. There are also rumors that the actors (including Ben Affleck) will reunite to shoot new scenes again!
It is expected that the film will last almost four hours. American director had planned for this production.
And after that will there be a trilogy?
It is difficult to say whether after this Warner Bros will return to resume the plans and develop the trilogy of Zack Snyder. As we know, Ben Affleck abandoned the role of Batman, with a new film of the hero already being recorded with Robert Pattinson in the main role, something that makes it difficult to execute this series of Justice League films.
