Samsung would finally stop recycling the selfie camera of the S10

According to 01Net’s Samsung would finally stop recycling the selfie camera of the S10
news, I share all my suggestions, recommendations and opinions about Samsung would finally stop recycling the selfie camera of the S10
with you. Details are below…

Samsung should improve the photo sensor for the selfies of its future Galaxy S. According to a leak, the Galaxy S23 / S23+ should not be satisfied with a 10 megapixel lens on the front.

Samsung would not integrate 10 megapixel front photo sensor on the Galaxy S23. According to information from Galaxy Clubthe brand would intend to bet on a 12-megapixel lens on the standard S23 and S23+.

The Dutch media, whose information is generally correct, does not know whether the sensor will be slipped into a hole in the screen. It is possible that Samsung instead integrates a photo sensor hidden under the touch screen, like that of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. At this stage, the information concerning the design of the range is quite thin.

Farewell to the 10-megapixel sensor recycled since 2019

It’s a small revolution for the Galaxy S range. Since 2019, the manufacturer has indeed contented itself withimprove the front sensor of the Ultra editions, more premium. For their part, the standard and Plus editions must always deal with the same photo sensor before the S10.

The Galaxy S10/S10 + indeed have a 10 megapixel front photo sensor. This lens has been reused on the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21 and the latest Galaxy S22. On the other hand, the S22 Ultra inherits a 40-megapixel selfie camera lens. Unsurprisingly, Samsung reserves new features for the most expensive versions.

Moreover, the data sheet of the front camera of the Galaxy S23 is still a mystery. It is unclear, for example, if Samsung plans to add autofocus, as could be the case on future Apple iPhone 14s. Similarly, no information has yet filtered about the front module of the S23 Ultra.

200 megapixel photo sensor and Snapdragon SoC

At the same time, Samsung would have developed a 200 megapixel photo sensor bound for its S23 Ultra, reports Business Korea. This sensor would replace the 108 megapixel lens of the S22 Ultra. It promises to be close to the 200-megapixel Isocell HP1 lens announced by the firm in September 2021.

Finally, it is rumored that Samsung has decided to temporarily the impasse on Exynos chips. According to a rumor that appeared on the South Korean platform Naver, the company would have paused the development of Exynos chips. On the S23, Samsung would bet only on Snapdragon chips, from Qualcomm. In general, Galaxy S sold in Europe and Asia are powered by an Exynos chip. This would not be the case next year.

Note that the Galaxy S23 lineup is not expected to be announced until the month of February 2023. By the launch of mass production in the fall, Samsung still has time to change its tune.
