The former Guingamp and Stade Brestois defender, 32 years old, had convulsed in the penalty area shortly before halftime of the match between his Al-Wakrah team and Al Rayyan, the club coached by Laurent Blanc.

He also took the time to thank the doctors who came to his aid, accompanying his message with a photo showing him with a broad smile in the hospital.
