With the lightning spread of Omicron in the world, vigilance is required, even on the plane. Airplane passengers would be more likely to be infected with Covid – 19, since the emergence of the variant discovered in South Africa, estimates the Association international air transport, which represents nearly 300 carriers worldwide.

Although the ventilation systems of airplanes considerably reduce the risk of transmission between passengers – several studies show that the probability of catching the Covid – 19 is much weaker than on the ground – health measures must adapt to the high transmissibility of this new strain, now dominant in many country, warns the organization.
