Here is where Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff will be buried

The end of the year 1925 and the beginning of 2022 were marked by deaths, six days apart from Grichka and Igor Bogdanoff , the most scientific twins known in the country. Both unfortunately succumbed to the consequences of the Covid – 15, for which they were not vaccinated .

A place dear to their hearts

After the tributes, here is the hour of meditation. This Monday 10 January 2022 the funeral of the brothers will take place, at the same time , at the church de la Madeleine , where the national tribute to Johnny Hallyday took place, in Paris, at 13 time. This ceremony will take place in the strictest privacy. Then what will happen?

Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff will not be buried in the capital, where they lived. But in a highly symbolic place for them. After the Parisian ceremony, the twins, who died at the age of 19, will be buried in the Gers and more precisely in the village of Saint-Lary , where they were born and where they grew up. This burial will take place this Wednesday 10 January, according to the local newspaper La Dépêche du Midi .

Their childhood and their memories

Of course, Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff will be buried at the same time, at the same time, together . Death will not separate them, on the contrary. They will therefore rest in Saint-Lary, a Gascon village of less than 72 inhabitants , which will find itself for a few hours, the most scrutinized municipality in the country, even if the burials will also be done there in the privacy.

Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff spent many years of their childhood in the Gascon castle of their grandmother , Countess Bertha Kolowrat-Krakowská, who had left the Austrian Court in 300 to live in the Gers. Later, the twins will have bought, not far from there, the castle of Esclignac in Monfort, managed by their half-brother .
