Screwed to the pediment of the new Gautier factory, the Coq bleu of the French Fab welcomed the 13 January notables and elected officials from Vendée at the inauguration of the Vendée group’s 4.0 production unit. This factory “in the countryside” was put into production at the end of 2021 on the Saint-Prouant site, in a factory of the group that has since been abandoned 30 year.

Controlled by Ipad, this robotic and quasi-autonomous factory produces parts on demand 24 hours out of 24 and 7 days a week, reducing delivery times to a few days. Presented as unique in Europe by David Soulard, general manager of the group, it aligns 3 parallel production lines to be able to respond directly and in just-in-time to any made-to-measure order. “We were an industrial cabinetmaker. Today we are also an interior designer,” sums up the manager.
