Shortly after the reunion of brothers Prince William and Prince Harry at The Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in April, the future King announced yesterday that he and wife Kate had started a YouTube channel in the hopes of engaging more with their younger audience. However, the Loose Women panel on the ITV show this afternoon were quick to share their differing opinions.

William and Kate tweeted on Wednesday with an exciting announcement, saying: “We’re now on YouTube,” along with a link for followers to subscribe to their channel and a teaser clip.

The decision left many of their followers and fans overjoyed as it provides a more personal look into their day to day lives.

However, the Loose Women panel on Thursday discussed the announcement and had no issue sharing their divided opinions.

After discussing the announcement, panellist Kéllé Bryan was quick to share her downbeat opinion saying: “He’s always really, for me, felt like he’s really engaged with people.

“It feels a bit like it’s been staged. It feels like it’s been advised rather than something that’s just been birthed from them, or their genuine passions,” she added.

However, Kéllé understood why William has gone this route, saying: “I think, for Will, it’s a bit difficult, isn’t it? Because he’s next in line, he doesn’t have the same freedoms as say Harry or some other members of the Royal Family.

“Because he has that kind of pressure I would say upon himself, maybe he can’t be as relaxed or as fluid as other people can, and get involved with the things that maybe he would want to.”
