The Kitzbühel men’s slalom is held on Saturday 25 January to 09h01. After Lucas Braathen’s surprise victory in the last slalom event, the race for the little Crystal Globe promises to be thrilling. The Norwegian had moved up 28 places in the second round slalom to win in Wengen on Sunday 15 January. Without a podium since his victory in Val d’Isère, Clément Noël must bounce back before the Olympics, just like Alexis Pinturault, still looking for his first victory this season in the World Cup.

Looks will also be facing Sebastian Foss Solevåg. The 31 year-old Norwegian is currently first in the slalom standings . World slalom champion in 2021 in Cortina, the skier remains on two completed seasons fifth in the World Cup slalom standings.
