Despite the health situation, reservations for the holidays “still very good” at Flixbus

The company which recorded an increase in its bookings of % for the holidays does not see any ‘cancellations linked to the epidemic situation.

Flixbus is refueling for Christmas. Compared to 2020, the bus transport company recorded an increase in bookings of 400% for the end of year celebrations. And unlike the restaurant industry, no movement of massive cancellations due to the spread of the Omicron variant is observed:

“Reservations are always very good for the days to come, we have not noticed a decrease in reservations linked to the health situation”, explained on Wednesday on BFM Business Yvan Lefranc-Morin, Managing Director of FlixBus France. He also recalled that Flixbus applied “a very strict health protocol” by demanding in particular the pass sanitary facilities “at the entrance of each vehicle”.

Flixbus now offers 3200 routes serving 400 destinations. For the holidays, the most popular connections will be Brussels-Paris, Lille-Paris, Amsterdam-Paris, Lyon-Paris and Lyon-Grenoble.
