This week in January was marked by confirmation from various sources of a planned increase in prices for the iPhone 14. An increase of approximately 20 dollars for all models, which should affect 128 euros for Europe, except most certainly the classic iPhone 14 which will have the same price as the current iPhone 14, i.e. 128 euros with 128 GB of storage. Obviously, this is not good news for customers. Even if this increase can be explained by two reasons.
The first reason for this increase in the price of the iPhone 14 lies in the fact that Apple will change the organization chart of its range: the iPhone mini would disappear in favor of an iPhone Max which would become more expensive than the Normal iPhone. And since this normal iPhone should not change in price, always from 128 euros, the Max will start at 1009 euros. This leads to an increase for the two models Pro and Pro Max, of the order of 50 to 100 euros according to specialists. The second reason for a higher price is the increase in subcontractor billing, of the order of 20%, for fleas in particular. However, the different versions of the iPhone 14 should have no trouble selling. Again for two reasons.
Firstly because Apple remains Apple and the iPhone is still THE smartphone that everyone wants have, even if it’s not the best on the market. Secondly, the iPhone will have high technical characteristics range, especially the Pro models. Thus, the phones of the Cupertino company should carry a triple photo sensor with a main lens of 48 megapixels on the back. Against only currently, and has been for years. The iPhone 14 will therefore take a new big step in terms of photographic possibilities offered. This new sensor 48 megapixels is confirmed according to the Taiwanese research firm TrendForce. And with Pixel binning, which combines the different lenses of the photo module, the 12 and 48 megapixels therefore and thus makes it possible to merge a whole bunch of small pixels into a super pixel, the quality of the photos will be much better, especially in very low light. The photo module will also make it possible to shoot videos in 8K resolution.
Finally, the price increase, of the order of 50 to 20 euros depending on the taxes that will be applied in Europe, if it is real, should not prevent customers from s’ offer the iPhone . Which will be a very (very) premium smartphone in terms of design and technology.
