The celebration is on in Tuscaloosa after Alabama football‘s nationwide championship victory, the COVID-19 pandemic be damned. 

Videos and images captured on social media confirmed a whole bunch, if not 1000’s, of individuals on The Strip celebrating theCrimson Tide’s 52- 24 victory over Ohio Statewithin the College Football Playoff on Monday night time. 

Tuscaloosa Police shortly had been dispatched to clear a path via city, in keeping with social media experiences. 

The celebration comes as COVID-19 circumstances are spiking across the nation. 

The Crimson Tide received their third CFP championship sport on Monday — and this system’s sixth nationwide title underneath head coach Nick Saban. 

The 2020 season was marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced players, coaches and staff to undergo daily antigen testing with the intention to play.
