According to 01Net’s After its metaverse smartphone, HTC is back with an Android tablet
. news, I share all my suggestions, recommendations and opinions about After its metaverse smartphone, HTC is back with an Android tablet
with you. Details are below…
HTC has just announced a new Android tablet. Without any pretension, the touch slate does not necessarily seek to distinguish itself with its mid-range technical sheet.
HTC has just lifted the veil on a new Android tablet. baptized HTC A101, it succeeds the HTC A100 announced last year. For the record, the A100 is the first tablet that the brand has launched in several years.
As is the case in the mobile phone market, HTC has been very discreet in the field of Android tablets. So market dominated by the iPadmost manufacturers are struggling to make a name for themselves, with the exception of Samsung.

Positioned in the mid-range, the tablet is built arounda 10.1-inch Full HD+ LCD screen (1920×1200 pixels). The touch screen is surrounded by thick borders. The front photo sensor is also housed in the upper border. To keep costs down, HTC hasn’t put much effort into the design side.
HTC’s touch slate is powered by a SoC (System on Chip) Unisoc T618 supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Engraved in 12 nm by TSMC, the chip embeds two ARM Cortex A75 cores up to 2 GHz and six ARM Cortex A55 cores up to 1.8 GHz. We are therefore entitled to cores that are based on the Armv8 architecture, quite far from the best, since the Armv9 architecture was introduced last year and underpins ARM’s efforts for the next ten years. The chip is, however, given to offer performance similar to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 and MediaTek MT8183C.
It is possible to add memory (up to 256 GB) thanks to a drawer for MicroSD card. Autonomy is given to a 7000 mAh battery compatible with 10W wired charging.
The tablet is equipped with a double photo sensor on the back. HTC relies on a 16-megapixel main lens accompanied by an ultra-wide 2-megapixel sensor. On the front side, there is a sensor for selfies of 5 megapixels.
We should also mention the presence of a facial recognition system. Despite everything, the technical sheet is absolutely nothing revolutionary. It should be distinguished by a contained price but, for the time being, HTC has not yet communicated on its prices. The previous version was offered at a price of around 250 dolars.
The HTC A101 will soon be available in South Africa and Russia. The firm did not specify whether the tablet will be sold in other regions of the world. In any case, the previous model, the HTC A100, is not available in France.
A few days ago, HTC negotiated its return to the smartphone market. The once-essential Taiwanese brand has launched the HTC Desire 22 Pro, a phone aimed at the metaverse.
